Summer Learning Slots for Middle and High School Students Going Fast
GRAND RAPIDS – Time is running out for GRPS students who live in the Believe2Become Hope Zones to enroll in the fun and profitable Summer Learning programs that are being offered at various locations in the city. High school students will have an opportunity to earn up to $800 cash for the summer. Middle school students will have an opportunity to earn up to $200 “scholar dollars,” redeemable for cash or prizes.
Field trips, college visits, hands-on work experience, and much, much more is available to middle school students, as well as high school students who are entering into either 10th or 11th grade. Time is running out! Students should see their guidance counselors by June 1 to sign up. All programs are offered on first-come, first-served basis. Limited openings in some programs remain.
Believe 2 Become is a collaborative partnership of hundreds of organizations and individuals who believe in the unlimited potential of Grand Rapids students, and expect them to succeed. Believe 2 Become is creating real opportunities for students to become the people they aspire to be.
