“I want to travel around the world, that’s my dream.
Thanh Vo yearns to visit distant lands, explore far-away cultures, experience different cuisines and customs. He wants to live life to the fullest so he has no regrets when he is older.
A total people person, Thanh values the good relationships he forged with his teachers. Most of all, he prizes the time he has to just hang out with his friends. In the fall, Thanh plans to attend Grand Rapids Community College, and may decide to transfer to Oakland University in the future. He’s considering majoring in economics, but he’s not ready to commit.
He does have advice for students who want to make the most of their high school journey. “Attend class every single day,” he says. “The key thing in high school is to focus, so you can reach your destination.”
